3、硬度大、強(qiáng)度高；由于漂珠是以硅鋁氧化物礦物相（石英和莫來石）形成的堅(jiān)硬玻璃體，硬度可達(dá)莫氏6－7級(jí)，靜壓強(qiáng)度高達(dá)70－140MPa，真密度2.10－2.20克/cm3，因此，漂珠具有很高的強(qiáng)度。
4、絕緣不導(dǎo)電；一般絕緣體的電阻均隨溫度的升高而降低，漂珠則相反，隨溫度的升高電阻增大。這一優(yōu)點(diǎn)是其他絕緣材料都不具備的。所以，它可以制作是性能的絕緣材料。5、粒度細(xì)，比表面積大；漂珠自然形成的粒度為1－250微米。比表面積300－360g/cm2，和水泥差不多。因此，漂珠不需粉磨，可直接使用。細(xì)度可滿足各種制品的需要。
